The Male Vocalist of the Year list of nominees for 2018 might look familiar to you: It's the same list fans saw in the category in 2017, except for one name. It's an indicator of the staying power that country music's leading men possess, year after year.

Jason Aldean won Entertainer of the Year at the 2017 ACMs, and he's in the running again this year, in addition to being nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year. He's still riding high on the hits from his 2016 album They Don't Know, but is getting ready to release a brand-new record, Rearview Town. Aldean's up against, among others, 2017's Male Vocalist of the Year, Thomas Rhett. who's been going through some pretty big Life Changes, providing him with new music that keeps climbing the charts.

Chris Stapleton has nomination in four other categories at the ACMs this year, and the 2016 Male Vocalist stands a pretty good chance of scoring this trophy again, unless somebody like seasoned veteran Keith Urban takes it home this year, thanks to his Song of the Year-nominated "Female." Lastly, Chris Young has been winning big lately, with his 10th No. 1 hit "Losing Sleep" and successful album of the same name. Is it enough to win him the Male Vocalist of the Year title?
