Cast members of "Farragut North" being performed by The Merlin Players professional theatre will be on AM Minnesota today.

The play opens tomorrow at 7:30PM at the Paradise Center for the Arts in downtown Faribault.

The play is being directed by a Merlin Players veteran actor, Craig Berg. Berg has directed numerous productions throughout the area, but this is his first directing project for The Merlin Players.

"Farragut North" is written by Beau Willimon, creator and writer of Netflix's "House of Cards," a hit series about Washington, D.C., political insider plotting.

The play takes place during the 2004 Iowa Caucuses and we will learn more about the production on AM Minnesota.

You should be forewarned, this play contains strong profanity.

The show runs April 22, 23, 28, 29 and 30 at 7:30PM and Sunday, April 24, at 2PM.

The box office is open until 8PM Thursdays and 8AM to 5PM Friday and Saturday, and one hour before each performance. You may call the box office at (507) 332-7372 to order tickets.

There will be an opening night reception after tomorrow night's performance.

I'm looking forward to learning more about the production, and hope you'll join me at 9:30AM.

If you can't listen then, go to our YouTube channel and watch the program.
