Each week I’ll share a picture and a little bit about a pet that is available for adoption and waiting to find a good home. If you’re thinking of adding a pet to your home, pet adoption can be a very rewarding way to do so. Check out this week’s Pet of the Week and then check back next week to see a new furry friend looking for a fur ever home.

This is Olaf. He is a young hound and boxer mix who is about 6 months old. Because he is still growing, he has a bit of an appetite. He is smart and has a great personality. Olaf is good with cats, kids and other dogs.

Olaf is neutered and is current on his vaccinations as well as being house trained. If you’re interested in learning more about Olaf, or about another pet available for adoption, visit safesanctuary.org for application forms and more information.

S.A.F.E Sanctuary is a local foster-based rescue and adoption program that aims to pair animals with good homes. They spay or neuter pets and work to train and socialize them during the fostering period.
