Each week I’ll share a picture and a little bit about a pet that is available for adoption and waiting to find a good home. If you’re thinking of adding a pet to your home, pet adoption can be a very rewarding way to do so. Check out this week’s Pet of the Week and then check back next week to see a new furry friend looking for a fur-ever home.

Meet Lass, a border collie and Australian cattle dog mix. Lass is 2 years old and weighs about 40 pounds. She plays well with other dogs, is friendly and has a good energy level. She would love a home with a fenced yard and going for walks on a leash.

Lass is spayed and is current on her vaccinations. She is house trained. If you’re interested in learning more about Lass, or about another pet available for adoption, visit pawsfirst.petfinder.com or facebook.com/pawsfirstrescue.
