Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Mayo Clinic's tribute to the late President George H.W. Bush included a spectacular transformation of a Rochester landmark. The top of the1928 Plummer Building was illuminated by red, white, and blue lights last night in honor of the nation's 41st President in the wake of his funeral Wednesday morning at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C.

With the late President and his wife, Barbara, have a close relationship with the Mayo Clinic for many years. Mrs. Bush served on the Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees from 1993 until 2001. President Bush and the former First Lady would also open up their home in Maine to Mayo Clinic benefactors for events supportive of Mayo's mission.
