Paradise Center for the Arts Executive Director Kristen Twitchell stops by the KDHL Studio to discuss her position and plans to grow membership for the facility.

We thought we'd give her a little time to get comfortable in the post before having her on the show.

Twitchell has worked in nonprofit before and tell us why the Paradise job was so intriguing. She will share her vision for the Paradise and I'm sure we'll plug a few upcoming events.

The Paradise Center for the Arts website, www.paradisecenterforthearts.org, points out the facility opened its doors in fall 2007.

The Paradise is a 501(c)(3) not for profit arts organization operating under the nonprofit license of the Faribault Art Center, which incorporated in 1956.

"Our mission is to create a vivid and energetic cultural center for the community and region. By showcasing regional artists and offering high-quality visual and performing arts opportunities, we enhance the quality of live for artists and art lovers throughout the region and beyond."

"We are committed to promoting an active interest in art and theater. We offer instruction in various art forms for both adult and child learners. We provide a venue for emerging and established artists to exhibit and perform. We expose our local and regional community to quality arts experiences."

Check out KDHL's YouTube channel if you can't listen at 9:30AM to AM Minnesota on KDHL.
