Paradise Community Theatre tackles the Tony Award-winning play Amadeus this weekend and next at the Paradise Center for the Arts in downtown Faribault.

We'll have people associated with the production in studio to discuss the play written by Peter Shaffer. Shaffer also adapted his play, which won a Tony Award for Best Play in 1981 for the big screen. The movie of the same name won an Academy Award in 1984.

The play gives a fictionalized account of the life of composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart among other composers of the time and includes a lot of Mozart music.

Daniel Yoder is directing the Paradise production and performances will be this Friday and Saturday at 7:30PM, Sunday at 2PM and next Thursday through Saturday at 7:30PM.

Tickets are $14 for members/$15 nonmembers/$10 for students. The Paradise box office is open Tuesday through Saturday from noon-5PM and until 8PM Thursday.

Tune in at 9:30AM for more details.
