Paradise Center for the Arts Executive Director Carter Martin stops by the KDHL studio to discuss the 2016 season in depth.

Martin began his duties in May of this year and it will be interesting to get his thoughts about the Faribault community and its support of the arts.

The Paradise Center is in the old Paradise movie theater, which was renovated at a cost of $2.1 million.

Their doors were opened to the general public in October 2007.

The January Thaw will feature the Buddy Koopman Orchestra on Saturday, January 23, at 7:30PM.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) is January 31 through February 6.

A tribute to the music group Queen is March 5 and the play The Odd Couple will be performed March 11 through March 19.

Comedian Scott Novotny takes the Paradise stage April 15 at 7:30PM.

The seventh annual Big Hats and Big Hearts Auction and Kentucky Derby Party is May 7.

The Recycled Art Sale is June 9-11 and the play 1776 will be performed June 17 through June 25.

Tonic Sol-Fa is featured July 22 at 7:30PM.

The eighth annual Blue Collar BBQ and Arts Festival is August 13

Harriet the Spy will be on stage September 16 through September 24.

A tribute to Bruce Springsteen hits the stage October 8 at 7:30PM.

Saturday, November 12, Wine Women and Comedy features Maxine Jeffris.

The December play is Wrapped in Glory and will be performed December 9-17.
