Panthers name GBB coach

The two-time defending state AA champion New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva girls basketball team has its new coach: Onika Peterson.

Peterson - an NRHEG graduate - was an assistant coach for John Schultz during each of the last two state title runs.

Schultz resigned after the season in order to spend more time with his family. His daughter, Jade, was a senior on the state title team.

Also, Wendy Schultz has stepped down as Panthers softball coach.
