Faribault Orthopedic and Fracture Clinic orthopedic surgeon Dr. Erik Stroemer stops by the KDHL Studio today for AM Minnesota.

If you have a question for the doctor just go to our Facebook page and ask your question.  It's that simple.

Stroemer attended Emory University School of Medicine and graduated with honors in 2001. He conducts surgeries throughout the area at Allina Hospital in Faribault, Northfield Hospital and Abbott Northwestern Hospital in the Twin Cities.

Stroemer did receive a patient's choice award for his work.

We are heading into a season where falls can occur, resulting in hip fractures and other broken bones. I know because a couple of winters ago I took a tumble just outside the radio station and sprained my knee badly. It still bothers me from time to time because of my advanced age.

The first thing I had to do was bring all my shoes into the physical therapist and he tossed some to one side and told me those had to go because of the soles. Nearly all my soles were bad according to the PT, and I went to Burkhartzmeyer's and got some new winter boots with better soles.

If you can't tune in at 9:30AM today you can always go to our YouTube channel and watch the program later.
