Opening Markets, Soybeans under pressure

Here are the opening Minneapolis Grain Exchange futures

Spring wheat:

March 6.18¾ up 100

May 6.17 up 200

July 6.24¼ up 1¾

September 6.32 up 200

December 6.45½ up 2¾

Winter wheat (March) 5.66 up 250

Corn (March) 4.24 unchanged

Soybean (March) 13.13 down 350

Soybeans are under a lot of pressure today. There was light rain in the really dry areas of South America over the weekend but the "kicker" was the forecast for more general rains on Thursday. In addition maybe cooler temperatures. It was in excess of 100 degrees over the weekend.
