Saturday evening the NRHEG FFA held their 85th Parent Member Banquet. The NRHEG FFA is one of the oldest FFA chapters in Minnesota. It was really nice to receive the Honorary Chapter FFA Degree. The Honorary Degree Ceremony was conducted by the NRHEG FFA officer team. The purpose of the award from the official ceremony "is to recognize those who are helping to advance agricultural education and the FFA, and who have rendered outstanding service to the FFA."

In the picture is the 2014-15 NRHEG FFA President Haylie Mosher. The FFA is a national youth organization whose purpose is to develop agricultural leaders. The following is from part of the opening ceremony at all FFA meetings: "FFA Members, why are we here? To practice brotherhood, honor agricultural opportunities and responsibilities, and to develop those qualities of leadership which an FFA member should possess."

Thank you to the NRHEG FFA. It is great to work with and be a part of the FFA.
