On Saturday afternoon I went over to the Waseca County Fair to do some 4-H interviews. Walking from the parking lot, I had to take a picture of this round bale of hay. When I saw it I remembered that I saw decorated round bales last year at the Waseca County Fair. As I was walking around the fairgrounds, I saw a number of these round bales. I suspect their was a little competition between the 4-H clubs in Waseca County.

One of these round bales was created by the Janesville Jack and Jill's 4-H Club and the other by the Homegrown Explorers. These kids can sure be creative. Not only with decorating hay bales but also coming up with names of the 4-H Clubs. It was pretty warm and humid Saturday afternoon, but there were a lot of people enjoying the fair. When I am at a fair I always try to eat at the 4-H food stand. It's fun to see 4-H members taking their turns working in the food stand along with their families.
