I used to use this barn for dry cows and pregnant heifers. There was a divided feed bunk in the middle, an alley way and free stalls along the walls. We took out the feed bunk, free stalls and poured concrete where the stalls were. I had a bunker silo I did not need anymore so we tool the cement panels and put them along the walls. This keeps the corn off the walls. There were silage conveyers I had no use for so those went up on the trust rafters. The barn is close to the continuous flow dryer and with a 55 foot portable auger I can dry corn and put it right into the old barn. To load the corn out of the barn I use the same six inch auger with a much larger pulley on the motor to speed up the auger. I can load out 400 bushel in about 20 minutes. I push the corn into the auger with 4020 and a loader. It is not a "handy" as having another bin but this is very "inexpensive" corn storage.
