Last Saturday afternoon my cousin Chad and I put machinery into the shed for the winter. It sure is a good feeling having all the fieldwork done and get the machinery in the shed before the freezing rain, snow and cold temperatures moved in. This used to be a dairy barn. After I sold the herd we took out all the equipment, freestalls and now use it as a machine shed. When Dad build the barn in the late 1960's he put in free span rafters so we have plenty of height clearance to put machinery in. Notice we can "pack" the machinery pretty close to get as much in as possible.
