Does Jerry Have a New Mom?

Yes, after 61 years, my mom decided to put me up for adoption. At the Rice County Fair I had a picture taken with my new mom. Yes, I was adopted by Tara Langevin with Faribo Insurance. Well, maybe my real mom did not disown me but, I do have a new radio mom. Tara with Faribo Insurance did adopt me on our website kdhlradio.com under our "adopt a jock " program. I am not really sure I am a real radio jock, but I am happy to be adopted by Tara!

The other Tara that I did not know until the Rice County Fair was Tara Van Thomme. KDHL radio sponsored Tara in the Rice County Fair Queen contest. What a delightful young woman. She is a student at the University of Minnesota main campus. Tara is majoring in international studies. Tara was the first attendant for this year's Rice County Fair. I escorted Tara during the coronation. In case you were wondering, I did not trip Tara or step on her gown. About 12:30 Saturday afternoon I was at our booth and going to head over to the Best Pie in Rice County Contest. It was raining and Tara offered to escort me over to the contest under her umbrella!
