Music Monday October 12, 2015: Steep Canyon Rangers

It's Music Monday! Each week I share something I am currently listening to and think that you might also enjoy. It could be an old favorite, or something I've just discovered. 10/12/15: This week's featured Music Monday song is "Blow Me Away" by American Bluegrass group the Steep Canyon Rangers. Woody Platt is on acoustic guitar, Mike Ashworth on the box kit, Nick Sanders plays the fiddle, Mike Guggino is on the mandolin, Graham Sharp takes on the banjo and Charles R. Humphrey III is on upright bas. The group formed while attending college in North Carolina in 2000, and in 2009 started doing some collaborations with Steve Martin. The Grammy Award-winning band has released nine solo albums and two albums with Steve Martin.
