After several months of waiting and anticipation, Faribault has a new restaurant. With a soft opening held on November 1 and the public being welcomed on November 3, Faribault has a new family friendly pizza place and sports bar.

Located at 1525 Division St. W. in Faribault at the intersection with Lyndale Avenue, the new Carbone's Pizza in Faribault occupies the same building that once housed the Shamrock Bar, followed by Spike's Bar, and then The Club. Carbone's Pizza is new to Faribault, but its roots go back to Antoinette Carbone, who started the St. Paul's Original Pizza after the passing of her husband, Alfonso, and it has grown into a much bigger company. Minnesota is home to 30 locations housing the Carbone's Pizza chain, mostly based in the metro. Wisconsin has six locations, and Montana is home to one Carbone's Pizza.

The restaurant is open daily from 11AM to midnight and offers a lunch buffet five days a week. They serve appetizers, pasta, pizza, burgers, hot hoagies, sandwiches, wraps and salads.
