The Great Minnesota Get Together is still a couple months away, but the music lineup is something to be excited about now!

The Minnesota State Fair has released the musical acts that will be performing at this year's celebration, and if you enjoy country music, consider your dance card full for the duration of the fair!

Kicking off the country music line up is Keith Urban with Kelsea Ballerini on Aug. 28 in the Grandstand. Carrie Underwood with guest Native Run takes the Grandstand stage on Aug. 29. Show your support for another country lady by watching Terri Clark play on the Leinie Lodge Bandshell Tonight! stage on Aug. 29 and 30. If you've "Gone Country," you won't want to miss Alan Jackson and Brandy Clark playing on the Grandstand stage on Aug. 30. On Sept. 2 and 3, country newcomers Old Dominion perform on the Leinie Lodge Bandshell Daytime stage. Up and coming country act Dallas Smith performs on the Leinie Lodge Bandshell on Sept. 4 and 5. Step back in time on Sept. 7 to see Merle Haggard and Kris Kristofferson play the Grandstand with Sturgill Simpson opening.

Other notable (and FREE) performances to check out at the Minnesota State Fair are Tonic Sol-Fa and Gaelic Storm Aug. 27 and 28, the U.S. Navy Band and Andy Grammar on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, Lost Highway plays Sept. 2-3, Home Free and C. Willi Myles on Sept. 6-7.
