The Miesville Mudhens are seeking their seventh state championship after capturing the Class B title a season ago. They open play in Norwood on Sunday at 2:30PM against Champlin in the 16-team tournament.

The first round is single elimination and then double elimination kicks in next weekend.

The Dundas Dukes open Saturday at 4PM against Forest Lake in Hamburg. The Northfield Knights face Blaine in Hamburg at 7PM Saturday. The Elko Express tangle with Brooklyn Park at 5PM in Norwood on Sunday.

There are 40 teams in Class B and 216 teams in Class C in Minnesota.

Friday, August 18, 5PM at Green Isle Cold Spring vs. Chaska

Saturday, August 19, 1PM at Hamburg Moorhead goes up against Shakopee

Friday, August 18, 7:30PM at Green Isle Chanhassen vs. Sauk Rapids.
