I hope everyone is enjoying this Christmas season with their friends and families. I also hope you are enjoying all the special Christmas programming on KDHL. All the high school Christmas concerts, Christmas music, Gustavus Christmas concert and special church programs. As I write this, I am listening to Handel's Messiah. John, Kelly and Mike did a lot of organizing to get everything put together and scheduled. I had the easy part Christmas Eve and today. Just stay on time and click the mouse on a computer screen!

Christmas Eve as I was in the studio broadcasting two Christmas Eve worship services I though to myself, this radio business is not a lot different from being a dairy farmer. It does not matter to livestock what holiday it is, they need to be taken care of 365 days a year. Here at KDHL someone is in the studio 365 days a year, too. There is one major difference though. When you have cattle, if the TMR mixer breaks down or tractor does not start you better figure out how to get it fixed. Livestock need feed and water every day. In radio if the computer freezes up or transmitter goes off line I call the engineer to come and fix it. I just sit and wait for someone else to figure it out and fix it!
