Memories

It was fun emceeing the Winter Dance Party concert at the Cannon Falls Auditorium Saturday night.  The artists had incredible presentations of the Big Bopper, Richie Valens and Buddy Holly.  It took me back to the early 80's when I hosted a oldies show on K98 radio in Ottumwa, Iowa.  The most requested songs were from Elvis, the Beatles and Buddy Holly.  It was called the B-Bop and Hop Show. The greatest thing about the sold out concert was the proceeds go to the Shepherd Center Of The Cannon Valley to help people in the Cannon Falls area.  Ricky Skaggs last year, Winter Dance Party this year, got any suggestions for next year?
