Meet New Executive Director of Farmamerica

Farmamerica Minnesota's Agriculture Interpretive Center, located just west of Waseca, will host an open house to introduce their new executive director, Jessica Rollins. The open house will be Monday, October 17, from 3-5PM. Cake and coffee will be served and of course everyone is welcome. Rollins grew up on a farm in Fillmore County. Rollins, her husband and daughter live on their family's sesquicentennial farm near Pemberton.

Rollins comes to Farmamerica with lifelong personal and professional experience in the agriculture industry. She has a career background in agriculture communication, marketing and public relations. Her task will be not only to tell the story of agriculture's past in Minnesota but also into the future by adding new material and displays to help share the story of today's modern farmers. It sure sounds like Rollins has the background and passion to fit in well with the team at Farmamerica.
