A losing streak that spanned two seasons ended for the Medford girls basketball team Jan. 13 as they defeated Bethlehem Academy 43-40. Sarah Manderfeld led the Tigers with nine points, backed up by Becca Edel and Ally Noble, each with eight. The Cardinals shot only 16-73 from the two-point mark and 5-21 from the three-point mark. The Tigers did well from the charity stripe to help in their win. The Tigers face Lewiston-Altura on Thursday, Jan. 15, and Waterville-Elysian-Morristown on Friday, Jan. 16.
