Maren Morris is enjoying a successful first week on the road with Keith Urban for his Ripcord Tour. Selected as an opener by Urban himself, Morris also gets to share the stage with him during the night.

At a recent tour stop in St. Louis, Urban re-introduced the Hollywood Casino Ampitheater audience to his opening act. The two then segued into Urban's previous hit single with Miranda Lambert, "We Were Us."

Dressed in a white fur coat, skin tight shorts and black booties, Morris sang Lambert's parts flawlessly as Urban looked on while playing guitar. While Urban sang his verse, Morris danced along, mouthing the words beside him.

Lambert surely doesn't mind her fellow Texas gal taking over the song for her. In fact, Lambert is an outspoken fan of Morris. After Morris released her major label debut album, Hero, last week, Lambert took to Instagram to share her excitement.

"Yay! I've been waitin' for this!!!!! I'm such a big fan of this girl! Congrats @marenmorris on a great record and all the wonderful things headed your way," Lambert captioned on Instagram.

Lambert isn't the only country artist who calls herself a fan. It turns out Dierks Bentley also admires the singer, even asking Morris to sing on one of the tracks on his new album Black called "I'll Be the Moon."

“I’d heard her voice in the demo, I didn’t even know it was her … She’s a great singer," he says of the newcomer. "She really took the song to a whole other level."
