Southern Minnesota Law Enforcement React to Recent Shootings

In recent days, the local and national news has been filled with coverage revolving around the July 5 death of Alton Sterling in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and the July 6 death of Philando Castile in Falcon Heights, Minnesota. Both fatalities were by a member of a police department and both have video coverage. On Thursday, July 7, during a protest in Dallas, snipers seemingly not connected with the protest shot 11 officers, killing five. On Friday, July 8, there are reports of another officer shot near St. Louis.
