Loadiing Beans

One or two afternoons a week I head out to the farm to haul beans to the elevator. Dad built this bin about fifty years ago when I was in grade school. It has a full aeration floor and Dad used to dry corn in it. Now it just stores beans from harvest until winter when I haul them out. It just has a six inch auger for loading so it takes about 31 minutes to fill the truck. It is amazing when you think about it, that bin has been storing grain for more than fifty years!
