This morning I stopped out at the Genesis Morristown location. This is a picture of a truck that was weighed before making a delivery of liquid fertilizer to a farm. There sure was a lot of activity at this fertilizer plant. I am amazed at how they can keep track of inventory when everyone is so busy.

You have farmers picking up seed, herbicides and fertilizer, plus all the deliveries that Genesis employees make. It all is written down and entered into their computer. In addition to the normal employees, there are a lot of part-time employees hired for the spring. I talked with one gentlemen who was a retired semi driver. Many of the other part-time employees are retired farmers. Retired farmers make great part-time employees. They love to be involved in the busy spring planting season. They know what a long day is like, they are used to driving large equipment and they probably know where everyone lives. Just be aware there will be a lot of trucks, pickups, tractors and other equipment on the roads for the next couple of weeks.
