Lakers Showdown For Region Title Is Today

The Faribault Lakers will play St. Patrick for the Region 3C TItle and a bye in the opening round of the State Amateur Baseball Tournament next weekend in Belle Plaine and Jordan.  If Faribault wins the Noon game they are the champs!  If they lose then another game would be played to determine the Region Champion.  St. Patrick defeated St. Benedict 3-0 yesterday to set up the showdown.  Don't eat lunch because Jerry Kes of Basher's fame is grilling some awesome burgers, brats and hot dogs and there are plenty of cold beverages to drink.  Popcorn, candy and other goodies are also available at the Bell Field concession stand.
