Komets Hoping For Repeat

The Kasson Mantorville Komet baseball team opens defense of their Class 2A State Championship today against the Hawley Nuggets on KDHL.  Pine Island Head Coach Craig Anderson will offer his expertise on our broadcast from Dick Putz Field in St. Cloud.  Coverage begins 2:45pm if everything is on time.  Hawley is no seeded in the tourney and sports a 18-6 record while the 3rd seeded Komets are 21-4.  Here is the rest of the field.  #1 seeded St. Cloud Cathedral tackles the BLake School at 10am and at 12:30pm it's 4th seed Glencoe-Silver Lake against #5 seed Delano.  At 5:30pm this opening day #2 seed Fairmont goes up against Aitkin.  Win or lose the Komet game tomorrow will be on KDHL.  If they lose they play at 12:30pm and if they win at 2:30pm.  IF they play in the third place game Friday at 5pm or the Championship game at Target Field Saturday at 3pm the game will be on KAT KOUNTRY 105...104.9FM due to our coverage of Twins baseball.  We're looking forward to some great high school baseball in St. Cloud and bringing it to you on the radio and online at kdhlradio.com.  Remember you can download the free Townsquare Media Radio Pup app and listen on your favorite mobile device.  I'm sure we'll see a lot of BLEED KOMET BLUE shirts in the stands!
