Kick off the first day of spring this Monday, March 20, at your local Dairy Queen in Faribault, Northfield and Owatonna with a free small ice cream cone. As a matter of fact, according to Today.com, this is a nationwide event that includes all participating non-mall Dairy Queen locations. Besides being able to enjoy a little taste of Dairy Queen's famous curlicue-topped ice cream cone, they're hoping for donations to help out the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Whether it's some change you've got sitting in your cupholder or a little of that folding money, whatever you can spare will be appreciated.

This delicious promotion is limited to one cone per person and there are limited quantities, so make sure to get to your local Dairy Queen early. Last year Dairy Queen raised more than $200,000, with more than $120 million contributed to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals over the past 32 years of participation.
