The first Minnesota Guillotine Wrestling Magazine rankings of the 2015-16 season are out and the Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights are the second-ranked team in Class A.

State football champion Minneota is in the top spot and Zumbrota-Mazeppa is third.

There is a very good possibility all three could be at the state tournament because Kenyon-Wanamingo is in Section 2 this year, Zumbrota-Mazeppa stays in Section 1 and Minneota is in Section 3.

Dovery-Eyota out of Section 1 is ranked 11th.

Goodhue made the Lean and Mean category out of Section 1 and so did Blue Earth Area out of Section 2.

Individually, the Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights have freshman Jeron Matson ranked No. 1 at 106 pounds.

Senior Ethan Cota is No. 1 at 113 pounds and Knight senior Jared Clawiter is seventh at 120.
