Keith Urban is currently overseas on tour, and upon finishing a performance in Australia, he learned the big news: he's been nominated for three 2017 Grammy Awards! Urban is up for Best Country Album for his latest album Ripcord, Best Country Solo Performance for "Blue Ain’t Your Color" and Best Country Song for the same song.

Excited about the news, he shares with the press his initial reaction upon learning of his three nominations at next year's Grammys.

"It’s 2AM and I’m just coming down from a crazy great show overseas,” Urban says in a press release. "I’m totally blown away with these nominations. Making Ripcord was really a collaborative labor of love both for the music and all the people that helped me bring my vision to life. I’ll stay up anytime to hear news like this ... just not sure of how to get to sleep now!!"

Urban's 2016 release Ripcord has received many praises and hit No. 1 in three countries, the U.S., Canada and Australia. Additionally, the superstar has received three No. 1 singles from the album with "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16," "Break on Me" and "Wasted Time/" "Blue Ain't Your Color" is still rising to meet the top chart position.

Carrie Underwood is with Urban on tour, and at a weekend show, the country stars teamed up for the first live performance of "The Fighter." It was also the first time Underwood and Urban performed in New Zealand.
