‘SNL’ Star Kate McKinnon Takes on Cat Shelters and Traveling Seamstresses

You know who Kate McKinnon is? (Yes, you know who she is. She's one of the best things on 'SNL,' but that's not where this is going.) Kate McKinnon is someone who cares very deeply about cats. Just because she wrote and performed a skit with Charlize Theron about crazy cat shelter ladies does not mean she hates cats.

The newly minted Emmy nominee took to 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' last night to chat about how a skit led to her being shamed on Twitter, how she really feels about cats, and the apparent hazards of snarking on crazy cat ladies.

As a special bonus, McKinnon also discussed some of her weirdest airport adventures -- which involve, believe it or not, vintage sewing machines -- which might have just inspired a new character for her to perform.
