The Kasson-Mantorville KoMets completed their season with a sweep of Roseau in the Consolation Championship of the 2A State Tournament Saturday.

It took justs 65 minutes for the KoMets to win by scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-17 and finish their season 24-11.

The Rams ended their year 25-11.

Roseau had a negative hitting percentage for the match -.060 with 19 kills and 25 errors while Kasson-Mantorville hit .179 and tallied 32 kills and 15 errors.

The KoMets have most of their key players back next season.

Four seniors played their final matches for Kasson-Mantorville.  Addison Murry, Alli Schager, Payton Thompson and Kora Bretzman.

6'0 junior Peyton Suess connected on 14 kills with a .289 attack percentage and had 4 ace serves with the Komets amassing 11 aces in the match with 6 service errors.

6'0 junior setter Abby Bigelow had 3 ace serves and 25 assists.

5'11 junior hitter Emilee Terry hit .200 with 9 kills and led the team with 13 digs.

Junior libero Bailey Berge had 12 digs.

No Roseau players had double digit kills and the highest hitting percentage for a player was .037.
