John Deere Pink Pumpkin

The staff at the Reliance Bank in Faribault have been painting pink pumpkins and then selling them as a fund raiser for cancer. This has been done for a number of years and has gotten quite popular. In the picture is my very own special customized pink pumpkin. Apparently in addition to knowing about local banking at Reliance Bank someone is also very artistic too!

President Todd Markman of the Reliance Bank is on the Birthday Club each Monday. I asked about getting my own special pink pumpkin that also had green and yellow on it. Of course I was referring to John Deere Green and yellow! I left the studio Friday morning to combine beans. Over the weekend I came to the studio to catch up on work I should have done Friday. I found this pink John Deere Pumpkin on my desk!

I am sure virtually every family has been touched by cancer. All the proceeds raise by the Reliance Bank pink pumpkins will be donated to the Allina District one Cancer Center. Be sure to stop out at the Reliance Bank in Faribault and pick up your pink pumpkin!
