Jill Resler Promoted at Minnesota Pork

On Friday the Minnesota Pork Producers Association announced that Jill Resler was promoted to chief operating officer. Jill joined the Minnesota Pork Producers Association in May 2009 as the director of education and producers services. Resler will oversee the day to day operations of the Minnesota Pork Producers Association and the Minnesota Pork Board. Dave Preisler was named the chief executive officer and will be more involved in advocacy activities in St. Paul representing Minnesota's more than 3,000 family pig farmers on political and regulatory issues.

Jay More, president of the Minnesota of the Minnesota Pork Producers Association, said, "This change allows Dave to focus on his strengths in networking and politics while an extremely capable and young leader in Jill thrives in areas of development and checkoff programs. This is a positive change for our organization allowing staff to utilize their strengths and continue to work together successfully."
