Infants Remembered in Silence (IRIS) is having their annual charity weekend tomorrow and Sunday in Faribault.

IRIS executive director and founder Diana Sundwall will be on today's AM Minnesota to give us the details at 9:30AM.

IRIS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to offering support, education and resources to parents, families, friends and professionals on the death of a child in early pregnancy or from stillbirth, premature birth, neonatal death, birth defects, sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), illness, accidents, and all other types of infant and early childhood death.

IRIS is totally funded by donations and memorials. There are no charges for their services.

Infants Remembered in Silence is having their annual pancake breakfast bash at the Faribault American Legion on Sunday from 8AM to 3PM.

The pancake breakfast is served from 8AM to 12:30PM. Cost is $3 for children and $6 for adults. A silent auction takes place from 8AM to 3PM. The bake sake is held during the entire event or until the items are sold out.

We will get more details about a Family Fun Night on Saturday at the Community Center in Faribault. I am honored to once again call Bingo on Sunday. Bingo will be played from 1-3:30PM. Children and adults are welcome to play and cash prizes are awarded.

I hope to see you at the Faribault American Legion on Sunday.
