Infants Remembered in Silence executive director and founder Diana Sundwall stops by the KDHL studio today for AM Minnesota at 9:30AM.

Her organization has arranged for the 35W Bridge and Lowry Avenue Bridge in the Twin Cities to be specially lit in baby pink and baby blue the evening of October 15 in observance of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.

The special lighting also took place last year.

You can join in the observance on the Stone Arch Bridge, which is near the 35W Bridge beginning at 6:45PM there will be a brief service.

The service will be followed by participation in the International Candle Lighting from 7-8PM.

IRIS has arranged for transportation from Faribault. If you would like to go that route, deadline for signing up is October 12 at 5PM.

We will also visit with Sundwall about some other upcoming events like the IRIS Common Burial on October 20 to honor infants who died early in pregnancy.

The Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day has become a very large event in Faribault.

If you can't tune in at 9:30AM, you can listen at your convenience by heading to our YouTube channel.
