When was the last time you spent a sunny summer afternoon at an ice cream social? When you were a kid? Or maybe you've never been to one at all. Well, you're in luck, there just happens to be one this Sunday afternoon hosted by St. John's United Church of Christ and the Wheeling Township Youth Fellowship. Everyone is welcome to this family friendly event held between 4-7PM. There will be plenty of ice cream and other treats including homemade pie, sundaes, barbecues, ham sandwiches, potato salad, milk and coffee. There will also be assorted boxed greeting cards available and there's an aluminum can drive; bring yours along and donate to the Youth Fellowship aluminum collection. Make plans now to spend the afternoon and early evening with your family or friends at this delicious and enjoyable event.

The St. John's United Church of Christ's address is 19086 Jacobs Ave., Faribault. It's 8 miles east of Faribault or 6 miles west of Kenyon on Highway 60, then go 2 miles north on Jacobs Avenue/County Road 24.
