Why is it, when the roads are not great, people still have to be in such a hurry to get somewhere, that they are willing to risk others lives as well as their own to do it.  Is it worth killing on injuring yourself or someone else to get that cup of coffee or keep from being just a hair late to work? Most bosses will understand you being a few minutes late when the roads are bad. take a few minutes to look at the forecast the night before so it's not a total surprise.  I learned how to drive in the winter.  In my 30+ years of driving I have only had one winter accident. You know why..I slow down.  Yes I hate people tailgating me when I do, but I have the satisfaction that down the road I will get to where I am going safely(knock on wood) and the other person that tailgates me, hates me going slow etc. Will more than likely be in the ditch or worse.up a head. Be safe this weekend..!
