The game was not pretty with ten total turnovers but Academy of Holy Angels doesn't care how pretty it was, they are the Class 4A Minnesota champions following a 14-0 Prep Bowl win over Cloquet at U.S. Bank Stadium.

The Stars were the Class 4A runner-up in 2005 and 2013.

Statistically the game was pretty even with each team collecting 16 first downs.

Academy of Holy Angels was more balanced with 193 yards on the ground and 109 through the air while the Lumberjacks had 173 yards rushing and 43 passing yards.

Cloquet had four lost fumbles and a interception and the Stars coughed the ball up twice and had 3 interceptions in the game.

Academy of Holy Angels was 7 of 13 on third down conversions and Cloquet was 2 of 11.  The Stars also had four sacks in the game.

Cloquet senior quarterback Tim Pokornowski ran 22 times for 113 yards and was 6 of 15 passing for 43 yards.

Academy of Holy Angels was led by senior quarterback Joseph Heimbold running for 72 yards on 19 carries and completing passes to six different receivers including a 46 yard touchdown to senior Ryan Mazurek.

Mazurek and classmate Alex Gillard led the Stars in tackles with 10 each.
