Inver Grove Heights, MN (KROC AM News) - Traffic on northbound Highway 52 south of the Twin Cities was reportedly backed up for miles early Friday because of a traffic crash.

The wreck happened around 5:00 AM between Rosemount and Inver Grove Heights and involved a semi-truck.

The crash led to a fuel leak that forced the closure of the roadway during the busy morning commute.

MnDOT says one lane reopened two hours later and traffic was back to normal around 7:30 AM.
