It was fun to be at Pork Congress 2017 at the Minneapolis Convention Center on Tuesday. The roads were not too bad heading up to the Minneapolis Convention Center, but the traffic was quite heavy. Kevin Estrem is a pork producer from Nerstrand and a past president of the Minnesota Pork Board. Yes, Kevin did give me a lunch card for the Mill City Grill on the trade show floor.

There were more than 150 exhibits set up on the trade show floor. All  of them worked with pork producers. It was nice to see so many exhibitors at Pork Congress and even better to see so many pork producers spending time talking with exhibitors. One of the reasons many pork producers attend Pork Congress is the timely seminars. There were seminars on the new Veterinary Feed Directive law to diseases that are in other countries that might show up here in the United States. Today is the final day of Pork Congress 2017.
