Grand Prize Winners At North American Farm and Power Show

For a number of years, Ag Power Enterprises in Owatonna, Hollandale, Belle Plaine, and Osage and Northwood, Iowa, provided the grand prize at the North American Farm and Power Show in Owatonna. This year it was a John Deere riding mower valued at $1,699. A couple of years ago, Miners Outdoor Rec in Blooming Prairie provided a second grand prize. This year it was an 18-inch Husquvarna 455 Rancher chain saw package valued at $525. The drawing is held Saturday afternoon at 3:30. The John Deere riding mower was won by Trevor Beckstrom from Waldorf and the Husquavarna chainsaw bundle was won by Mary Hylen from Lake Crystal.

In the picture from the left is show manager Steve Guenther, Deb Golberg and Kandice Shaw with the John Deere riding mower. I was doing an interview with Steve about the show and was surprised to learn this was his last North American Farm and Power Show. Steve has been in the farm show business for 30 years and he is going to retire in July! I sure have enjoyed working with Steve over the years and wish him all the best in retirement. However, he better stop by the North American Farm and Power show next year and say hi!
