This lawn and garden tractor was the grand prize at the 2016 North American Farm and Power Show. Everyone (except me) can register for the drawing when they attend the show. The drawing is held Saturday afternoon about 4PM. This year the grand prize was won by a farmer from Faribault, Scott Bauer! Scott was not at the show at the time of the drawing, so show manager Steve Guenther called and left him a message on his cellphone. One of the requirements is to put your phone number on the entry form.

It is always sad near the end of the show when all the exhibitors start to tear down, pack up and head for home. Guenther said in about two hours the entire Four Seasons Complex on the Steele County Fairgrounds will be empty! It was a great show though, with big crowds all three days. The exhibitors I talked with were happy with the leads and business they did at the show. With low corn, beans and livestock prices farmers were more cautious, but they still need products take care of livestock, corn and beans. No real reason to be sad, there is always next year.
