Corn is up 3 or 4 cents today and above $4.38. For a time we even got above $4.40 so the close today will be important. It just feels like the demand side may be winning the battle at least for now. It is hot and dry in Southern Brazil and that seems to be helping corn and beans that are up around 10 cents a bushel. The March Soybean Contract did get over $13 a bushel. Still no "official" word about China canceling beans from the United States and shifting them to South America. Wheat is doing well today too. Wheat seems to be getting support from the State Crop Condition ratings with Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma all showing declines in their Winter Wheat crops. Remember we do not get ratings from the USDA during the winter but some states do release winter wheat ratings.
