The Goodhue Wildcats are the top seed in Section 1A West Subsection and will host either No. 8 Minnesota Academy for the Deaf or No. 9 Glenville-Emmons on Thursday.

Glenville-Emmons (9-16) is at MSAD (14-9) Tuesday night.

Faribault Bethlehem Academy (8-18) is the No. 7 seed and hosts No. 10 Leroy-Ostrander (5-20) Tuesday night at 7PM.

The winner travels to No. 2 seed Grand Meadow (20-5) Thursday night at 7PM.

No. 6 Blooming Prairie (9-16) has No. 11 Christian Life Academy (7-14) travel to the Awesome Blossom Gym on Tuesday and the winner goes to No. 3 seed Southland (10-11) on Thursday.

No. 4 seed Lyle/Pacelli (14-10) has No. 5 Randolph (14-11) come to their gym Thursday night.

The semifinals are Monday, February 22, at the Rochester Mayo Civic Auditorium and the Subsection title game is Saturday, February 27, at 11AM.

The Wildcats had a rough January, going 5-5 during the month, but have turned it around, winning five of their last six games, including a 30-point win in their season finale against Zumbrota-Mazeppa last Friday.

Goodhue plays Monday night in the overall championship game. They travel to Lake City.

MSAD has the longest winning streak heading into the playoffs with three straight victories and sports a 14-9 record.

If QRF were used, MSAD would be the No. 4 seed. The problem coaches have in their seed of MSAD is the fact they played just one opponent from the section.
