Good Time To Leave Minnesota!

Friday morning I will be at the studio at about 4:15 like usual. John will take over at 7AM and I will be heading up to the Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport. Yes, a perfect time to travel to Phoenix, Arizona. I received the Ag Communicator of the Year award from the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation. The award recipient each year receives a trip to the American Farm Bureau Federation National Convention. This year the convention will be in Phoenix. I have not bothered to checked the weather in Phoenix, but I am certain it is much warmer than Minnesota!

Sure, I am looking forward to warmer weather, but it will be exciting to be at the American Farm Bureau Convention too. There is a big trade show to see the latest products from agribusiness, Young Farm and Rancher Discussion competition, break-out sessions on various topics, and general sessions. It will also be fun to talk with farmers and ranchers from other areas of the country.
