Free Forest Hike at Cannon River Trout Lily Scientific and Natural Area

You're invited to a two-hour guided hike at the Cannon River Trout Lily Scientific and Natural Area outside Faribault this Saturday. The hike on May 2 begins at 1PM at the end of 166th Street. Go 1.5 miles north from Faribault on Highway 3, then one-half mile east on 166th Street to the dead end and park there.

There are no restrooms or trails at the Scientific and Natural Area. The walk is appropriate for all ages, but you'll be walking across uneven terrain. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather and activity.

This is free of charge and will be held rain or shine. Feel free to bring along binoculars and cameras.
